Miranda Edmister lives in Louisville, KY with her husband, their two sons, and their leopard gecko. She fell in love with the Snacks in Sacks mission the moment she read an article about the group’s humble beginnings in one woman’s basement. She and her family - particularly her oldest son, who shares her passion for volunteering - have regularly attended Snacks in Sacks events of all sizes since 2018. Miranda is proud to now serve the nonprofit as Board Secretary. She brings with her the experience of serving on the advisory board for her college sorority and the PTA board for her sons’ school, as well as a background in writing, proofreading, and editing.
